Destinations covered: Delhi - Agra Fathepur-Sikri - Sariska reserve - Jaipur - Pushkar Ajmer - Udaipur (on the way Ranakpur) - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Khuri (Thar desert) - Bikaner - Mandawa (near Shekhavati Alsisar)- Delhi. Visit great attractions including 5 sites of the UNESCO World Heritage Humayun´s Tomb, Qutub Minar and the Red Fort in Delhi, the Taj Mahal in Agra and Fatehpur Sikri. Jaipur: The beauty of the Fort can be enjoyed royally with an elephant ride. Desnoke: 600 years old Deshnoke Rat temple. Khuri Dunes: On the Silk Route, you can visit the havelis (private mansions) and spend the night in the Tar desert in a typical Rajasthani village, sleeping either in traditional house or out in the open in the dunes. Varanasi Bénarès: Take a boat cruise on the Ganges through the gaths (the Indian baths). Ranakpur: visit the famous marble Jain temple with its 1444 marble pillars. The Sariska Tiger Reserve: It is one of the most famous national parks in Rajasthan. With its ruins of medieval temples of Garh-Rajor, it makes us think to Kipling´s Jungle Book. Day 1: Arrival Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Meet assistance on arrival & transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Delhi City Tour
Morning tour of Delhi visiting Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana - the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru, Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit Qutub Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch) Lakshminarayan Temple - a modern Hindu Temple. Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place shopping centre (more details one One day trip in Delhi)
Day 3: Agra City Tour
On arrial check in at hotel. Afternoon city tour of Agra includes the Thaj Mahal, Red Fort and the Tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula free.
Day 4: Fathepur-Sikri / Jaipur - the pink city
Drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri enroute. Fatehpur Sikri is 40 kms from Agra and built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama.Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal and other Palaces.
Day 5: Pushkar
Morning drive to Pushkar. On arrial check in at hotel. Afternoon free.
Day 6: Pushkar and Ajmer Tour
Pushkar in Rajasthan is reputed as the only town that has the temple dedicated to Lord Brahma. The little city of Pushkar has its own distinct charm that is unmatched by any other city. A perfect town nestled into the side of the Snake Mountains and lining Lake Pushkar. Whitewashed buildings,patterned at minarets line the lake shore, pilgrims on the ghats performing puja all seems to have come straight from the fairy tales. Ajmer is like an oasis in the otherwise barren land of Rajasthan. The city was founded by Raja Ajay Pal Chauhan in the 7th Century A.D. Today, Ajmer is reputed as major center for culture and education for both the Hindus and Muslims.
Day 7: Udaipur
Morning drive to Udaipur . On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon free.
Day 8: Udaipur City Tour
City Sightseeing visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, Sahelion - ki-Bari, Fatehsagar Lake, Pratap Smarak, Sajjan Niwas Garden, Museum , zoo return to Hotel after city drive.
Day 9: Jodhpur on the way Ranakpur (Jain temple)
Ranakpur Jain Temple built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the Aravali. Its surrounding is quiet and picturesque. Ranakpur has grand structures and beautiful sculpture. There are 1444 pillars in the temple and none of them are similar. Afternoon free.
Day 10: Jodhpur - The Blue City
Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Girdikot and Sardar Market, Museum, Balsamand Lake and Gardens, Mandore, Mahamandir Temple, Kailana Lake, Osian, Dhawa, Luni Fort.
Day 11: Jaisalmer - The Golden City
After a relaxed breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies. Visit the Jaisalmer Fort - The oldest living Fort in the world.
Day 12: Thar Desert Khuri or Jaisalmer
Breakfast will be at the hotel.Proceed to the Sand Dunes by jeep after lunch for visiting the typical Rajasthani Desert Village.Start your Camel Safari from the village. Ride into the desert passing through small villages and grazing camel herds. View the sunset from the dunes, as the sky is set on fire. Reach your camp and dinner will be served in the camp.Overnight will be at the camp.
Day 13: Bikaner
Morning drive to Bikaner. Afternoon free .Bikaner is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal Temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated. And the famous 600 years old Deshnoke Rat temple.
Day 14: Mandawa
On arrival check in hotel. Later visit The Painted Havelies of The Dundlod Town and Sorrounding Areas of Mandawa And Nawalgarh. The Painted Havelies of The Region are called "The Open Air Art Gallaries.
Day 15: Mandawa to Delhi
After breakfast drive to Delhi. On arrival transfer to By Air for flight to further destination.
